Verdan legal

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Realverse LLC, doing business as Verdan (“Verdan,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit verdan.ai, join our waitlist, or use the Verdan web app, mobile app, client portal, shared links, and agent features (together, the “Service”).

Verdan helps contractors, trade professionals, and project managers run construction and repair projects. Most of the information in the Service belongs to the organization (the “workspace”) that uses it. When we process information on a workspace's behalf, we do so to provide the Service to that workspace, and the workspace decides what goes in and who can see it.

Information we collect

Account and organization information

You sign in to Verdan through WorkOS, our authentication provider. We receive and store your name, email address, profile photo if you add one, and the organizations you belong to and your role in each. For each organization we store the details its members enter, such as business name, legal name, license number, address, phone, email, website, logo, and team work schedules.

Project content

Workspaces use Verdan to store project information, including sites and addresses, scopes, estimates, proposals, invoices, change orders, tasks, schedules, product selections, documents, and contacts for clients, vendors, and subcontractors. You can also capture:

  • photos and videos, which may include the location where they were taken and basic device details (such as device model and operating system);
  • room scans and 3D captures of properties;
  • voice notes, which we transcribe into text; and
  • imagery of a property from mapping services when you add a site.

Location

If a workspace turns on team presence, the Verdan mobile app shares a member's location with their team during that member's scheduled work hours. We keep only the most recent position, not a location history. You can control location access in your device settings.

Messages and communications

Verdan can send and receive messages for a workspace over channels the workspace sets up, including email, SMS and phone calls on a Verdan number, Slack, and WhatsApp. When a workspace uses these channels, we process the messages, attachments, sender and recipient details, and the opt-in and opt-out preferences of the people who text that number. Calls to and from a workspace's Verdan phone number may be recorded and transcribed. Workspaces are responsible for giving any notice and obtaining any consent the law requires for the messages they send and the calls they record.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. That includes workspace subscriptions to Verdan and payments clients make to a workspace through Verdan. Verdan does not store card numbers or bank account numbers. We store Stripe's reference identifiers, payment amounts and status, and billing and plan details. Workspaces that accept payments create a Stripe account and give Stripe the business and identity information Stripe requires.

Clients and other people a workspace works with

Workspaces may share proposals, documents, photos, and project updates with their clients and crews through links and the client portal. When a client opens the portal, accepts a document, or signs electronically, we record the action along with the IP address, browser details, and time, so there is a reliable record of the agreement.

Support and feedback

When you contact support or send feedback from inside the app, we receive your message along with the screen you were on and basic device and browser details, so we can reproduce the issue.

Waitlist and contact submissions

If you join the waitlist on verdan.ai, we store your email address and send you a confirmation. If you contact us, we receive your name, email address, and message. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address so we can send it to you. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse, which processes technical information about your browser to make that check.

Usage and device information

We keep service logs and usage records to run, secure, and improve the Service, for example which features are used, when you were last active, and errors. The mobile app stores a push notification token so we can send you notifications. Our websites set only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your theme and your last-used organization. verdan.ai does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels.

How we use information

  • to provide, operate, and maintain the Service for you and your workspace;
  • to generate the drafts, summaries, transcripts, estimates, documents, and other outputs you ask for;
  • to send and receive messages on the channels a workspace sets up;
  • to process subscriptions and payments;
  • to provide support and send you service and account messages;
  • to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms;
  • to understand how the Service is used so we can fix problems and improve it; and
  • to comply with the law.

If you join the waitlist or subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you updates about Verdan. You can unsubscribe at any time.

AI features

Verdan includes an AI agent that reads project content and messages so it can answer questions, transcribe voice, draft scopes, estimates, documents, and replies, and keep work moving. To do that, we send the relevant content to the AI model providers that run these features. We use providers to process content on our behalf, not to build advertising profiles.

AI output is a draft. Messages the agent starts on its own, such as a new email to a client, wait for a person in the workspace to approve them before they are sent. When someone who already works with a workspace writes to its Verdan email address or texts its Verdan number, the agent can reply in that conversation for the workspace. Agent work that runs in the background cannot send anything outside the workspace.

Integrations you connect

You can connect third-party accounts to Verdan, such as Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, WhatsApp, and lead platforms such as Thumbtack. When you do:

  • we access only data from the accounts you choose to connect, within the permissions you grant;
  • we use that data only to provide Verdan features inside your workspace, such as scheduling, drafting, and keeping project records together;
  • we contact customers who reach you through Thumbtack only as part of responding to their lead in that lead flow, never outside it;
  • we do not use integration data for marketing or advertising, and we do not sell it; and
  • when you disconnect an integration, we delete our access credentials and stop syncing. Information already brought into your workspace stays there as part of your project records until it is deleted.

Your use of each third-party service is also governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:

  • Within your workspace. Members of a workspace can see the workspace's content according to their roles and project access.
  • With people a workspace chooses. Workspaces can send documents, links, messages, and portal access to clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • With service providers. We use subprocessors to run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us. They include providers for hosting, storage, and databases (such as Cloudflare, Fly.io, and Neon); sign-in (WorkOS); payments (Stripe); email delivery and newsletters; SMS and voice (Twilio and LiveKit); messaging platforms you connect (Slack and Meta for WhatsApp); push notifications (Expo); AI model, speech, and 3D-processing providers; maps and place data (Google); and logging and usage analytics.
  • For legal reasons. We may disclose information when we believe it is required by law, or needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of Verdan, our users, or others.
  • In a business transfer. If Verdan is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as the account or workspace that holds it is active, or as long as needed to provide the Service, then delete or de-identify it, subject to the exceptions below.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account in the app. When you do, we delete your sign-in account, remove your name, email address, and profile photo, and remove you from every organization. Work you created inside an organization's projects, such as messages, photos, documents, and notes, stays with that organization because it is part of their project records, and it is shown as coming from a “Former member.” An organization owner must delete the organization before deleting their own account.

Deleting an organization. An organization owner can delete the organization. Access stops right away, and the owner can restore it for 30 days. After that, we erase the organization's content, files, and records.

Exceptions. We may keep some information longer where the law requires it or for legitimate business needs. Examples are tax and payment records, which we keep for up to seven years, information needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements, and backups until they expire. Usage records that contain only identifiers may also be kept after deletion.

Security

We protect information with encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive credentials such as connected-account tokens, access controls based on organization and project membership, and audit records for sensitive actions such as signatures. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us right away.

Children

Verdan is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 13 or at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights and choices

You can view and update your profile in the app, and delete your account there. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to give you a copy of it, by emailing hello@verdan.ai. We may need to verify your identity first. If your information is in a workspace run by someone else, such as a contractor you hired, we may refer your request to that workspace, because it controls that information.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any of them. Service and account messages will still reach you while you have an account.

California residents

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion and correction; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. This policy describes the categories of personal information we collect, which include identifiers, commercial information, geolocation, audio and visual information, internet activity, and professional information; the sources, which are you, your workspace, the services you connect, and the people you communicate with; the purposes for collecting it; and the categories of parties we share it with. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, email hello@verdan.ai. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will give you notice in the app or by email before it takes effect.
